Welcome to www.emas-conference.com (the “Website”), the official site for the Emergency Medicine Annual Scientific Tripartite Congress.
By registering for the conference, accessing or using any part of the website, or making any payment, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions:
1. Registration and Payment
- Registration of self-paying participant is confirmed only upon full payment through the approved payment gateways (PayPal or Billplz) or bank transfer
- Registration of corporate sponsored participant is confirmed with validated Local Purchase Order (LPO) or HRDC claim grant (via Skillworks Consultancy)
- Payment must be made before the registration closing date or until tickets are sold out.
- Prices listed are in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) unless otherwise stated.
- Early bird and promotional rates are only valid within the specified period.
2. Ticket and Admission
- Tickets are non-refundable but transferable to another individual with prior written notice at least 7 days before the event.
- Entry to the event is granted only with a valid registration.
- The organizer reserves the right to refuse entry or remove participants in the event of misconduct or violation of these terms.
3. Program and Speaker Changes
The organizer reserves the right to alter or substitute parts of the conference (e.g., speakers, topics, venues) without prior notice.
4. Force Majeure
The organizer shall not be liable for any failure to hold the event due to circumstances beyond reasonable control including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, political unrest, or venue unavailability.
In such cases, the organizer may postpone the event, convert to a virtual format, or offer an option to transfer registration to a future event.
5. Limitation of Liability
The organizer shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your participation in the event.
Refund Policy
1. Non-Refundable Registration
All ticket purchases are non-refundable.
2. Transfer of Ticket
- Tickets may be transferred to another person upon written request via email to the organizer at least 7 days before the event.
- The substitute attendee must fulfill the same registration category requirements.
3. Exceptional Circumstances
In the case of unforeseen or extraordinary events that prevent the participant from attending (e.g., medical emergencies, bereavement, or national travel restrictions), the organizer may consider:
- a full or partial refund, or
- transferring the ticket to the following year’s conference.
Requests must be submitted in writing with supporting documentation.
All decisions will be made on a case-by-case basis and are at the sole discretion of the organizer.
